andy67
yes cahs convertors and every other pawn shop around as these people will take stolen gear and leave it in the back shop for a year to cool down! this happened to one of my mates guitars...we went round all the shops with photos and accurate detailed descriptions of the item and the dodgy gets still took it in...it appeared one year later! I bet you can guess the rest!!

nick
Sorry to hear about your loss. You can only wish the very worst for these arseholes.. Might be a longshot, but along with checking Crack Convertors etc, you could set up some favourite searches on Ebay. You would receive notifications of particular items for sale... All the best for 2008

Davetbass
What a nightmare, fingers crossed your gear turns up undamaged. R.
Because of the specialised nature of the gear...I reckon it`s either on it`s way North or South. A friend of mine had all his bands stuff stolen (in Edinburgh) a few years ago and it turned up in London. Hope you get all your gear back mate
ARGH
PUT this list on www.rockofthenorth.com LOTTA covers/functions musos go there..locals etc. Might be the best lookout spot around. Im in Cas..I'll keep my eyes peeled.
thedontcarebear
If they dumped 5 gibson in bins, then they are likely to be clueless about instruments, so it will end up in cash convertors or at a boot sale somewhere.
Thunderthumbs
cheers mate thats an awesome idea!! i'll get on it right away!!
Just to pre-warn you....I'll have a couple of Peavey power amps up for sale on there soon, just so you know it's not me (ebay user name kingthumb2003). We've just bought a new HK PA rig, and all our old Peavey stuff (2x15 bass bins, 1 x 15 tops, power amps, etc.) is going to be up for sale. I'd seriously hate to be in your position, and like someone else said, it's a shame they weren't caught in the act. I really wish you all the luck in the world getting it back. The Funk
I feel bad for you guys. It also seems worse that it was stolen by people who have no idea of the worth of this equipment.
