The Burpster Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Does anyone have a set that I can borrow to open up the slots on a new nut I have for my hack PRS please? I'llpay postage both ways if not local. Anyone? bob. Quote
Ou7shined Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I have a needle file set that I'd gladly send ya (if we're talking a fast turn around - I use them almost daily) but it might be more economically viable for you to have a gander here. Bass Culture Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I also got something similar from B&Q a while back, and they were chips as chips too. Quote

The nozzle cleaners are much finer. They don't have enough cutting power to cut a nut from scratch but I've found them useful for making fine adjustments to nut slots, particularly for the G and D strings. Quote
Protium Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Generic cheapo needle files off ebay do the trick easy, useful for cleaning up bridge saddles as well. Quote
The Burpster Posted October 3, 2010 Author Posted October 3, 2010 I do like the Stew Mac proper diamond jobbies tho' they make it so much more accurate. Quote
