A few of us Bass chatters had a geek meet a couple of weeks ago and all took along different P-Basses and one of these was the evenings favourite for all five of us! Says a lot to get 5 BCrs to agree on something! Bump.

Hello!
Does that mean - long frets at the the nut and not very deep/thick neck (like the AV 62 reissue's neck) - or vice versa (Like a Stingray neck or some of the original 50ies Ps)?
(My english isn't well enough to understand the subtle differences between broad, thick, fat, wide ..., I'm german)

Thank you. I would like one with a thicker but less wide neck. So it's not for me.

Yes a few of us have a little meet up,Next one is after xmas although it looks like we might be getting up to Stoke for the clinic peteacademy has on the 2nd of Nov.

P basses and curry was that weeks theme,Sad but true. Its more about the curry to be honest! But in all serious a bass exactly like your was the overall favourite with some very good players trying them out.
