hi,
i'm 50 and have been playing bass for 8 months. i'm joining a band and i am confused as to what amp to buy.
1x15 4x10 2x12 combo head + cab, or any combination known to man (or woman).
at my age i'm not going to be playing big gigs.
i play a g&l l2500. into most types of music but mainly blues/rock. i have a car with large boot. and a niggling back, who hasn't at 50!!
any advice would be helpful.
thanks
jon

Hi Jon,
There's a nice compact little Trace Elliot set up that might tickle your fancy on sale here...

Nowadays with the advances in amplification and sound projection, a 2x10 combo is perfect to start with if you're going straight into gigging I reckon.
Some of them can get really quite loud! Warwick and EBS spring to mind.

Truckstop
