dougal Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 <quote> The humble bass guitarist is an under-appreciated beast. Yet try to imagine the last six decades of popular music without James Jamerson, Paul McCartney, John Entwistle, Jaco Pastorious or John Paul Jones, to name but a few. To celebrate the launch of MusicRadar's dedicated bass channel, we asked you to submit your nominations for the greatest electric bassist of all time via Facebook, Twitter and the comments on our original call-to-arms article. </quote> Link: http://www.musicradar.com/news/guitars/the...all-time-279007 I don't agree with the results, or in fact, any "greatest" lists, but it's quite interesting none-the-less. El Bajo Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 All the right bassists are there I think. Its more of a favorite bassist list, and considering Dream theater posted a 'Vote for John myung' on their website at a time where Portnoy has just left they are bound to get lots of hits on their site and in extention Musicradar PS, I voted Myung  Quote
keeponehandloose Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Whats that little box Jamerson has plugged onto his bass in his photo?? Quote

A Jamerson expert may be along shortly. Quote
