Are late Fender MIM P bass necks similar to Stingray 4's

My lovely MIM 2009 P bass is making my left wrist ache, 20 mins of Chic's Everybody Dance and its quite sore :)

I had the same trouble with the 80's Stingray 4 I borrowed.

The necks feel fairly similar to my hands?

what say ye learned ones?

cheers

IIRC my old 2004 MIA P bass and that last few Ray4s I've owned had similar neck profiles width wise - maybe the Rays were slightly shallower front to back?

Not sure about MIM - never owned a MIM P.
