bassjamm Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 (edited) Hi guys, Thinking of selling my Jazz as i don't really use it enough to warrent keeping it, i'll miss it if i sell it, but the cash could be put to some use elsewhere at the moment. It's a genuine USA model, with an Ash body, maple neck and fingerboard as you'll see. It's in good condition, there are some knocks on the neck, but nothing that case discomfort or detract from it's value/looks. It's a '99 model if i recall correctly. I bought it 2nd hand about 2years ago. I had the gallery give it a fret stone and set-up last month which cost me near on £100, but it plays absolutely amazingly now, i mean, it's in serious slap heaven, and grooves like you wouldn't believe. Pics: As for pricing...i'm not too sure, but given the fact that it's just had a serious amount of money spent on it, and it's only added to it's playing experience, i'm going to ask £595 which include the Fender hardcase, truss rod allum key and strap with strap locks (case has a catch missing and has had a knock which chipped a small section out about the size of a 50p coin, still protects the bass more than adequately). Please feel free to ask any question should you have any Thanks Jamie Edited May 31, 2007 by bassjamm
Beedster Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 Man, that is a lovely looking bass. You can't beat a Fender maple neck IMHO
bassjamm Posted June 1, 2007 Author Posted June 1, 2007 Thanks mate...i can't say how great this thing plays though, that's the best bit!!! But i must admit, i do think this combination of woods and colours is probably 1 of my favourite on a Jazz!
E_MaN Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 Damn that is a fine bass. Im thinking about getting one of these and selling my Alembic, but not atm unfortuntly! Hope it goes to a good home!
bassjamm Posted June 12, 2007 Author Posted June 12, 2007 Thanks...it is a pretty wicked bass, both in looks and tone!!! I personally think it's one of the better jazz basses i've played, that's why i've kept it for a few years...but funds need to be raised to pay for van troubles and other bits and bobs...so on with the sale!!! Thanks for the comment though!
Shockwave Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 Sure you wouldnt like a nice Warwick Streamer LX4 to trade with this ?

They in know way hinder the playability, nor create discomfort when playing...you don't feel nor notice them at all...but they're there. Thanks Jamie
mr_russ Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 That's cool- nothing major at all there. I'm still deciding what I'm going to go for but will let you know when I've made up my mind ;D cheers Jamie! R
