That's a great looking bass. It's nice when you see a bass like this and it's obvious the person who built it simply used the best parts available, regardless of cost. Good luck with the sale.

I think I saw gold 50's style covers once on the internet - some sort of specialized American company. Unfortunately, I don't remember which.

I've just priced this up on the Warmoth website and for all the parts, the nut install by Jimmy Moon, shipping and duty/VAT/etc you're looking at well over £1000 to put this together.

It has the best of everything, nothing was sacrificed to put this together

I've managed to find em after a lot of surfing, I wanted to put them on a mary kaye coloured p bass with tortoise shell pickguard and gold hardware. Yeah it was an american company that did it
