bassaussie Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 That's a great looking bass. It's nice when you see a bass like this and it's obvious the person who built it simply used the best parts available, regardless of cost. Good luck with the sale.
Schnozzalee Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 +1 fantastic build. All it needs for me is some gold pickup covers.
Delberthot Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 no one does gold '51 style covers, only chrome ones. That's why I added a later style gold bridge cover

Unfortunately, I don't remember which.
Delberthot Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 I've just priced this up on the Warmoth website and for all the parts, the nut install by Jimmy Moon, shipping and duty/VAT/etc you're looking at well over £1000 to put this together. It has the best of everything, nothing was sacrificed to put this together

Schnozzalee Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 I've managed to find em after a lot of surfing, I wanted to put them on a mary kaye coloured p bass with tortoise shell pickguard and gold hardware. Yeah it was an american company that did it
Schnozzalee Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Would look fine with the later period ashtrays too! You've got some lovely stuff 7enderhead
7enderhead Posted October 11, 2010 Author Posted October 11, 2010 And now for the final price drop...
