pete.young
Can anyone suggest a likely supplier, either on-line or walk-in for some small wood screws? I need No. 3 x20mm long, round head. Preferrably black japanned but I'll take what I can get. In case anyone is wondering, this is to fix the Roland GK3B V-bass pickup to my bass - the second hand pickup that came with the unit didn't have any screws and I'm getting fed up with sticking it back on with tape. I'll also need some small compression springs, I was thinking either Maplins or chopping up a couple of ball point pens but better suggestions welcomed. Mr. Foxen
Smashed biros in the street is my spring source. Ebay seems to be good for small quantities of screws.

Al Heeley
You can get a big box of springs from ebay or Maplins, or use old ballpens or drop me a pm since I have a big box of them (from Maplins)
pete.young
Thanks everyone for the helpful suggestions. I picked up a box of Maplin springs today, bargain for 3 quid, and it looks like Axes R Us have the screws I need. Never thought of them. Sorted once again thanks to Basschat!
