MoonBassAlpha
Maybe someone in the area reading this might want to help - it is for Charity, after all. Anyhow: Guitarists - can you help Audioscope out? Hello everyone A bit of an unorthodox request which we were hoping the kind-hearted musicians of Oxford might be able to help us out with. Does anyone have any of the following kit that they'd be prepared to loan us for one evening, on 10 November? Your kit would be safely transported to and from the venue, and it'd be played by just one band at the Jericho that evening (er, Wire). Basically, if we could find this kit to borrow, it'd mean we wouldn't need to hire it, so we can give more money to Shelter as a result. Free ticket to see Wire in the offing if anyone can help us out! BASS AMP: SVT BASS HEAD X1 8X10 CABINET *GUITARS AMPS: Jazz CHORUS 120 or MESA BOOGIE IV Drop us an email at stuart AT audioscope DOT co DOT uk or simon AT audioscope DOT co DOT uk if you can help us out! Thanks guys, Stuart.

They (Wire) must be used to getting promoters to get that kind of stuff in for them, I suppose.

They have been going since 1976!! 12XU B
MoonBassAlpha
This came up on nightshift too. Reply was: "They live in different countries so it's a bit of a logistical nightmare getting them together for a show. It's not like them driving a few amps up the M40, sadly." so there you go. MoonBassAlpha
hmm. I thought it was a long shot. Oh well, at least i tried. Maybe if they'd just asked for a Pro standard Bass Rig there might have been a taker or two.
