swanbrook
I have a 93 USA jazz and was going to sell it,I also have a few other jazz basses that I will keep. I have been offered a g&l trib 2500 as a straight swap, I don't know much about them but I am very tempted as I really only use 5 stings at the moment. Is it a fair trade ? Delberthot
I would have thought that the Jazz would be worth about £5-600 ish and the G&L about the £375-400 mark I, of course, could be way off though
AndyTravis
No. Not really. The Trib L2000's are ace, but not straight swap for a nice Jazz ace.
JTUK
I am not really the one to ask but even I wouldn't go for that swap. Cash your way..IMV
Chris2112
You'll lose a bit of cash value in the trade, but if you can sit down and try it first and like it then I don't think it's that bad a deal.

Ou7shined
The real term difference between a G&L trib and a USA G&L is very slight but if you were to not get on with the L2500 and subsequently wanted to move it on then you'd take a hit on this deal. I'd like to be all zen about it and say if you like the feel of it then go for it but then reality kicks in. Pity it wasn't your USA Jazz for a USA G&L.
