rkforum Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Hello fellow bass players I played hundreds of gig from early 90's to 2001 but retired from bass playing. Recently I was coaxed into doing a gig at my company picnic. I played the following bass solo (re-recorded the next day since the camera at the company function did not pick up the solo): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRIb4zQXM6Q Since it was the first time I had played in nearly a decade I decided to have a little fun. I'd love to hear from other bass players what they thought of my playing after a 9 year period of no playing. Criticism is welcome. Thanks in advance! Quote

EdwardHimself Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 "Wow! I didn't know a bass guitar could make these sounds. I always thought it was just really low, deep notes that kind of played in the background behind the guitars." I thought the bass playing sounded good, especially if you've not played for 9 years...
