blunderthumbs
Saw the guys in Manchester on Sunday on the opening night of the tour. They just get better with age, and the new drummer, Pete Ray Biggin is the dogs dangly bits. Loved it so much I bought two tickets to see them again this Sunday in Liverpool. Taking my 8 year old daughter with me. It's high time she saw what real music is all about.

[/quote] Which just goes to prove that music is a subjective art form and particularly drummers it would seem - or it could just be me. thisnameistaken
Are we having a new thread every time Level 42 play, or could this tour maybe be kept a bit tidier?
Rayman
I'm kind of wishing I'd gone too. I saw them at the King Georges Hall in Blackburn a handful of years back and it was awful, mainly because of the terrible venue to be honest, but I ended up leaving and going for a kebab after an hour or so. I was on the front row to the far right hand end, but because the stage was so high, I couldn't see a damn thing, all I could see was the PA and whoever came to the front and centre of the stage, useless. The band themselves seemed to be lacking some sparkle on that occasion too, MK just didn't look like he was enjoying it at all. Maybe I'll try and catch them later on this tour. This sorta stuff (e.g. specific dates) should be over the L42 forum... "Ooh... did you see Mark cough inbetween songs at tonight's performance... he didn't do that yesterday night..." yawn.
