fryer
Last played in 1969. Started playing again 2 years ago - just practising on my own. Joined a band 2 weeks ago, and have a gig this Saturday. 42 songs to learn, but looking forward to it.

Stingray5
Just out of interest, would you care to give us an idea of a few of the titles you'll be playing? Any repeats from your last gig? Either way, best of luck and most importantly, have fun!

leschirons
Enjoy your gig and best of luck. If it's a payer, you can go to the pictures, buy 10 fags, have fish and chips on the way home and STILL have your bus fare just like I remember. GOOD money gigs in 1969 only paid about 10 or 15 Groats for the whole band. Good luck, I had a 16 year break, played for 5 then had another 5 off then started again, so I know how it feels. 42 numbers to learn in under a week ? .....Too much man, as we used to say in 69. lol Enjoy ,
observer
Shame I live in North Wales, I'd love to come down and support your band. My come back to gigging after 20-years break seems now like nothing to be proud of. Good luck
Martin E
Good luck. Have you changed the strings since the last gig?
