However, it might be worth resoldering the speaker jack. I've known leads that have had solid looking solder but the contact/connection has been poor and this has affected the signal... just to clear one point; you have established that it isn't a duff guitar lead i.e. the lead that you've used has been the same one used when testing the amp and speaker separately. If you've got any switch cleaner it could be well worth trying some of that on the input socket. If you haven't you could try opening up the head and and scraping the contact points with some suitable implement. Really hope you have some joy as it's getting rather late for tonight's gig.
