99ster
Had my eye on this for a restoration project as I have much of the missing parts - until it went to over $4K! Soloshchenko
Would actually love to work on that bass. The headstock finish nearly brought me to tears! What's going on with the neck colour? Is that dark shade just aging???

It will need everything stripped back to the bare wood to start again... If it's done right it should make a fabulous bass after it's restored. Though the pickguard will be the hardest thing to locate - & then it's big bucks for an original early 60's pickguard in good condition. The repro ones never look right.
