Wil Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 (edited) I never really use this bass, as Jazz pickups are a bit polite for my taste and prefer a slightly chunkier neck. Its a lovely bass, I've fitted it with a hipshot D tuner and still have the original. Besides that its as I got it - there are a few marks on the neck which dont affect playability. No S1 switch, its just the usual passive Fender gubbins. It previously belonged to Bassjamm, see the original for sale thread for his pics here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...&hl=99+jazz I'll try and get some new pics up soon. As I've just picked up another BC Rich Mockingbird bass from the US, its now for sale rather than trade. £500 + postage, within the UK. Comes with a battered hard case, missing a latch and covered in stickers it does the job though! Edited January 27, 2008 by Wil
bassjamm Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Hi Wil...shame to hear that you've not really found the bass to suit your tastes...tis' an awesome bass though, and if funds permitted, i'd have it back off you, but they don't Hope it works out nicely for you! Jamie

Wil Posted January 3, 2008 Author Posted January 3, 2008 No ta! I can live with mocks and eagles, but anything else is too much Even mocks cut it fine, though...
Wil Posted January 3, 2008 Author Posted January 3, 2008 There's a nice white mock on us ebay with the hundred piece neck, and a PJ config. I'm tempted, I'd definately prefer that simpler electronics layout to the one on the white mock that's done the rounds (although the switches looked damn cool)... shipping is steep though! But hes totally trustworthy. He is a genuine seller. Check out his auction for the BCR stealth, Its interesting
Wil Posted January 3, 2008 Author Posted January 3, 2008 Right, as I'm due to be getting a new mockingbird soon (whooo!) the Jazz is up for sale. I'll take £500 for it, plus shipping within the UK.
Wil Posted January 7, 2008 Author Posted January 7, 2008 Some new pics. There is a spot of slight buckle rash, and as mentioned a few marks on the neck that don't affect playability, but are there!
Wil Posted January 27, 2008 Author Posted January 27, 2008 This is withdrawn from sale... Basically, I nearly traded it with Jebo1 the other day, and when the prospect of actually parting with the thing arose, I just couldn't do it!
