sockdeluxe_mikey Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 Hi there all, I have been looking into sending my EBS 1x12 that I just sold on the marketplace. As it's pretty light at something like 12.5KG it would be ideal to courier, but I have never couriered a cabinet before. Who's had good experiences with who? And who offers insurance as well? Need at least a couple of hundred pounds. Cheers! Quote

stevie Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 The big difference in the carriers is 1. who smashes stuff up and who doesn't and 2. who sorts it out when things get damaged. I've had good experience with UPS (via Interparcel) but whenever I send anything valuable I always overpack it and take photos of the packing. It doesn't take long, but that way, when the carrier rejects your insurance claim for inadequate packaging (which is their first port of call), you have evidence to the contrary. Oh, and warn the recipient to check for external damage before signing. That's another good way to wave goodbye to your insurance claim. Quote
