patch006
Hi all, This is already in the wanted items section but thought it would get a little bit more exposure here!! Has anyone got a 8ohm Tecamp cab that they wouldn't mind moving on? Looking for one to go with my 212 combo. What speaker configuration would best suit as a extension cab to go along with the 2x12, I'm thinking a 15". Another little question! if I am able to get hold of a 4ohm cab, would it be possible to get it rewired in to a 8ohm? sorry if this is a dumb question but I have no idea. Musicman20
Another 2x12....that will seriously move air and be super light. I wish id never sold my M212 to the local bloomin practice room
Bigwan
I have the 4x12 that I've contemplated selling... alas you're bleeding miles away and it ain't small (and it's the older livery - Tech Soundsystems era)! patch006
Thats a shame, those 4x12's must be awesome. Now a 6 x 12 rig would be pretty darn great!
Mr. Foxen
The Tecamp 6x12 was great and I miss it. For a brief period I was rocking a 10x12 rig.

(well you could wire in a sh*t load of resistors as speaker faking loads, but what's the point?) Of course any single cone cab will only have the natural rating of the cone, so you can't change that either.
patch006
Thanks for the comprehensive answer Fretmiester, I didn't think it would be possible. Trying to find a second hand tecamp 8ohm cab isn't very easy!
fretmeister
I know the feeling! I hae a 4ohn s210 I love it, but having 2 of them would be better!
bassbloke
I have a 8 Ohm Tech Soundsystems 4 x 10. However, to quote the late Charlton Heston, you'll have to prise it from my cold dead hands!
