joegarcia
Formed in the south west of England over many shifting, sporadic and frequently dormant line-ups, over several years, ANTA finally established themselves as a cohesive and active band in mid 2009. With two sound engineers and two illustrators completing the line-up of drums, bass, synths and guitar, and featuring members of Rose Kemp and Geisha, ANTA began work on their debut self-produced instrumental monster-prog-rock album “The Tree That Bears The Equine Fruit” after a string of successful live shows. “ANTA lay on riffs like seismic plates then throw them around like drunken Gods at a birthday party. These are truly the children of King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Sleep and Isis.” – The Cube, Bristol “Properly monumental, like vast granite wheels implacably grinding human bones” – Venue Magazine We have two exciting gigs lined up in October. Firstly at The Fleece supporting the mighty Chrome Hoof on the 23rd. This is available from the Invada Records online shop here. Wil
It invokes the soundtrack to Castlevania IV, particularly Needling Seamaw. This is a good thing.

bartelby
I was there last night. If I'd seen this thread before hand I would have said hello (I was wondering if you were a basschat member, but I didn't recognise your pedalboard ) I have to say I was super impressed! You have an interesting playing style, any reason behind it? I'm filmed your last track and it's currently uploading to youtube. I'll link to it later. Thanks to you and the rest of the band. joegarcia
Cool, thanks for coming Bartelby! Really appreciate the video, thanks for filming it and putting it up. I'm about to overhaul the board and rig (when I get me SVT and V4 back from repair and hook up my new Gigrig Midi-8) which is why you likely haven't seen it before. Yea, the playing style is a necessity as I have weird wonky arms which can't turn palm up. It's called Radio-Ulnar Synistosis and is where the Radius and the Ulnar (the two bones in the fore-arm) are fused together, in my case from birth. I'll be sure to update my porn thread soon. Thank you dave.c too! Pleased you like the record.
