ben604 Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 (edited) So, not the first and definitely not the last to buy a 5 string in hope of a smooth transition from 4, but after a week of trying, I'm going to give up until I can afford to own two basses! I bought it from ebay 10 days ago and it's a lovely looking bass, excellent condition, there's literally one small dink in the fretboard as shown in the photos. Otherwise, it's perfect. I believe it's a year 2000, made in Mexico. Midnight wine, with a white plate and rosewood board. I'd love to comment on how it plays as a 5, but I've little to compare it to. Sounds great, bit more character than I'm used to playing Precisions.
