SJA
I think that 5 string bass is being sold on ebay by tropicalmoonmusic. I like how it's got a split p pickup for just one string Edited January 2, 2008 by SJA
s_u_y_*
I love the logic! As if it is impossible to make the fretboard any other width. Still, I wonder if people of the future will be laughing at how we think the future will be like.
d-basser
look around you was a f*ckin hilarious program, series one was like all the science vids you get but surreal bollocks and series two was all tomorrows world spoofy

SJA
the bass of the future will have so many strings and such a wide fingerboard as a result, that players will have to wear Tony Levin-style "Funk finger" extensions on both their plucking and fretting hands. SJA
- but artificially aged by a revolutionary new relicing technique (involving putting it in a special bin with various specially chosen "distressing rocks" and rolling it down a hill)

LordAvon
For me, I'd like one of these ;- http://www.stick.com/instruments/sb8/ I couldn't get on with the regular version (I had a 10 string stick, 5 bass, 5 trebble) but I'd love to try a bass stick.
