fretmeister
I've only ever had stock bags or cases. BUt I'd like a 1 size fits all. I have 2 Status (headed) and a Stingray 5. 99% of the time I take 1 bass only - unless I'm supposed to be on fretless and I lose my ability on it due to beer. So - is there a good gig bag that I can get a bass in AND get a Mark Bass F1, power cable, compressor pedal and a couple of cables in? ta
clauster
I'm sure there are better ones, but the Warwick rockbag that comes with their basses (Premium line rockbag?) will do that.
Faithless
You could do much worse than choosing an iGig case. Yes, they're expensive (150 pounds from Bass Direct), BUT your bass will get serious protection and there's loads of space in pockets - F1 head will go in one without any problem. http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_sp.../IGIG_Bags.html I got one yesterday, and, fitting a lil' amp head (I'm not sure, which yet - maybe Genz Benz, maybe Ibanez Proemethean, but it doesn't matter in terms of fitting in) was a demand for gigbag, when choosing it. And I think I made the right decision to get iGig. cheers Faith
fretmeister
Thank you! I shall have a look at that. The wife would be thrilled if the hard cases could go in the loft!
xgsjx
Markbass do a gig bag too that holds 2 basses and has several pockets... http://www.bassmerchant.com/item_detail.php?product_id=1012# But at £349 it is a bit on the pricey side! Delberthot
You could check out Roksack - I'm using one for my Thunderbird althugh I assume they make different models - 2 pockets that are way huge and little velcro thingy for storing your cables without them getting all tangly
tayste_2000
The Levy's one I'm selling will do this. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=106765 Alternatively the Warwick cases have huge pockets but I don't think they are well enough padded or rigid enough. I have the Premium Thunderbird one and if it wasn't for the fact its huge and swamps my bass I wouldn't be happy with the protection it gives but that said, they do have very very large front pockets Edited October 15, 2010 by tayste_2000
