Hi all... try as I might... so it's back to basics (pardon the pun).

Matt Pulcinella (MPGuitars.com) Level 6 Fretted in lush Blue Quilt Maple.

[attachment=61300:body.JPG] [attachment=61301:front.JPG] [attachment=61302:back.JPG]

35" scale; 19mm spacing at the Bridge
Pau Ferro FB
Bartolinis with BTB2? Preamp... 18V
Master Vol (pull for Passive; full bypass; runs with dead batteries)
Pan
Mid (pull for second centre frequency)
Stack T & B
Humbucking/Single coil switch for each pickup.
Hipshot US Hardware

One very small ding above and behind the front pickup; not through the finish

Very low action, no buzzes; on tour (by air) it's straight out the Bass Safe and bag, quick tune.. no neck adjustments required...
Typical Bart clarity and depth.

With OK gigbag.. will pack well.

£1000

MAIL TO UK ONLY. UK mainland insured delivery included. Other UK at cost.

Trade wise... US (only) Vintage reissue P bass. '57 or '62 (NO dings on neck)... not that fussy about body colour, scratchplate or the occasional knock.

Thanks for looking.

Dammit. I thought I was GAS free…. :)

I have a rule for basses now. I ONLY play 35" scale, only 18-19mm spacing, only bolt-on and only 6 string. The amount that come up on here that hit all 4 points are almost non-existant (Plenty that tick 3 out of 4)… Damn you!

You going bonkers again?

A superb instrument I had the privilege of playing and is everything you would expect from £2600 bass and then some....

ridiculously cheap and a bargain for some lucky chatter

good luck

Saturday evening nudge from the depths... you could always make me an offer... might say yes... if it was critical may include a Hiscox LiteFlite; depending on the offer...
