Stingray5
I have a whole bunch of stuff I like to listen to for late night listening or just to lay back and chill out to. We're not talking Death Metal here, peeps! I'd love to know what other BC'ers might recommend. Any style, any genre. I've previously posted this elsewhere on BC, but thought I'd kick things off here with it...

Colledge
watching the wall movie / music video late at night by yourself in a dark room can be a bit of an interesting experience too. i made the mistake of completely submerging myself in it, freaked me out a little. i'm ashamed to say i'm partial to a bit of john mayers more bluesy stuff as a bit of relaxation too. Sean
Joni Mitchell's Both Sides Now album - it's a collection of twelve great songs that have been assembled to chart twelve stages of a relationship from meeting and falling in love through to breaking up and getting over the break up and realising there is life afterwards. It's a masterpiece that everyone I have introduced to it has fallen in love with. Crack open a bottle of red, put it on jump in, it's a very moving and soulful work with big lush productions. I also like anything by Tom McRae and REM's New Adventures in Hi-Fi for those more contemplative moments.

lowdown
Dave Grusin tunes do it for me late at night. This one gets a lot of play in my house, my six year old lad loves it. [ he is learning Piano ] From the Mountain Dance album with a very young Marcus Miller. Garry Edited October 15, 2010 by lowdown
