4StringBass
Hello all! I've been learning for the past 18 months and starting to get to a point where I'm feeling like I can actually play and looking to start playing jam nights/open night etc. Started off with a 4-string Peavey borrowed off a mate and now playing a gorgeous Fender 4-string jazz bass. I've signed up on recommendation of my tutor to expand my knowledge and also looking for info a bigger amp. Nice site! Cheers Andrew

4StringBass
Thanks for the welcome folks. Del, it's Lawrie MacMillan, bassist for Ray Wilson (Stiltskin & ex-Genesis front man). Lovin' my lessons and lovin' my bass. Just need some more tone and a bit more oomph coming oot ma amp! Cheers Andrew
Delberthot
Cool - I had a couple of lessons from James Finnegan years ago after he left Hue & Cry and just before he joined Stiltskin
