One of the worst re-fins I can remember, but I actually like the sculpted headstock.

I'm old enough to remember when these were just workhorse basses, and every pub player had one.

The whole vintage & rare, must-be-mint, collectible thing is a pretty recent phenomenomenomenomenome ... erm ... thing.

one man's beauty is another man's horror.

It's horrible!

the neck at the nut looks pretty narrow, more Jazz than Precision...

Slightly OT but good to see they are still listing the fretless 76P that I bought from them in May/June and sold to Happy Jack a month ago :) http://www.vintageandrareguitars.com/web/o...asses/item/6285

Well, you had to be there, man. Or something like that. I'm more surprised that V&R seem to have missed the fact that their Bath closed a few weeks ago......thought that would be worth a mention on the website?

Just seen on their 'Contact Us' page it says "BATH STORE CLOSED FOR REFURBISHMENT, PLEASE CALL LONDON STORE!"

Cheers,
