On Tuesday 2nd November Janek Gwizdala will be holding a bass clinic at the Academy of Sound, 16-22 Hillchurch Street, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, ST1 2EX, sponsored by TC Electronics.

Admission is free. Should start around 7.30pm. Let me know if you are definitely coming, so I can keep tabs on numbers.

I'm not sure why the events are so few and far between. I believe Janek was looking for a northern venue and TC approached us with that date.

He's also playing down the road from me at the Hideaway in Streatham on Monday 1 Nov, he'll be playing with Gary Husband and the house band Partikel... thought some of you might like to know - he's doing a small UK clinic tour around that time as well - all details on his website.

In all fairness,it should be an ace night. Janek is a great player and really knows his stuff.

Plus,it's a great shop and hopefully,if it's a good turn out,they'll be able to put more of these events on. We need
more Midlands based clinics.
