dangerboy Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 (edited) Bought a few months ago from eBay. I don't know what I was thinking. This sounds great but I'm never going to get to play it live. It just wouldn't look right with the stuff I'm doing at the moment. I bought it to travel with, but guess what? I almost never travel... 30" scale. Fast, low action. Big sound from the bridge humbucker. The neck is aluminium with wooden inserts, painted black. Schaller tuners at the "wrong" end. SOLD. Edited March 10, 2011 by dangerboy
richardrickenbacker Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Kramer basses are well under rated. Not sure even their quality can help shift this one though, it's a love it for hate it thing - i'm still undecided, do I need to travel!
adledman Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 either travel or a quick game of rounders! i am sure its great to play. calling all 80`s tribute bands

MoonBassAlpha Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 That seems a good price! I thought these went for more than than normally. Not at all common these days.
richardrickenbacker Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010
That seems a good price! I thought these went for more than than normally. Not at all common these days.
It is indeed a great price. I sold a lefty 650B (long story don't ask) for £320 - though it's original list price compared to fenders at the time should make it worth about a grand - they just don't have the fan base, took ages to sell also. Seen a few right handed models go a lot cheaper and take a lot longer than they should to sell. Never see the same one twice though - kramer owners are keepers generally.
dangerboy Posted October 19, 2010 Author Posted October 19, 2010 BUMP. The bass I was selling this to buy has sold to someone else. Grr. Still, this is for sale now I've made the decision. But I'm open to trades for microphones, or even an exciting bass.

RaNoFuNkY Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 This is a bargain!! Surprised it's still here - I paid much more for mine. Cracking basses, have a bump mate
dangerboy Posted October 21, 2010 Author Posted October 21, 2010 Sorry - I already have 2 more Elvis mics than I need! Looking for recording studio mics really. BUMP.
dangerboy Posted October 23, 2010 Author Posted October 23, 2010 Sorry - I don't think I'd ever use an Ashbory either! Still for sale.
dangerboy Posted October 29, 2010 Author Posted October 29, 2010 Trades? I'm not interested in selling for less cash than this, but I'm always looking for interesting toys.
dangerboy Posted December 27, 2010 Author Posted December 27, 2010 Post Xmas clearout bump. Trades and offers welcome. Time this left!
