edstraker123 Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 (edited) Lodestone Primal Artist 4 String bass in Lodestone gig bag. Mint condition in Trans Maple Flame £550 This is my current main bass and is that good it outlived 3 Shukers an ACG an Overwater Progress Deluxe and a Musicman Bongo -no mean feat ! It looks absolutely gorgeous and plays like a dream with a set of La Bella Deep Talkin' on it. I'm not really playing at all at the moment so I'm selling to fund bike addiction. website blurb. Contoured for comfort, yet making a definitive style statement, the Lodestone Primal Artist Bass combines traditional and modern materials to steer bass development into an exciting new era. Carefully selected tone woods are used in construction – alder for the body, Indian rosewood for the fingerboard and hard rock maple for the slim, narrow and smooth neck, which features a 2-way adjustable truss rod. The contoured body design enables funk players unprecedented access beneath the strings for dramatic pulls, while the body cutaways combine with a sculpted neck joint to provide easy access to every fret. EMG Hyperactive pickups are used in a classic J configuration, and are amplified by Lodestone high-output, low noise active circuit, with controls provided for volume (x2), bass and treble. These are nearly £1200 new so in this condition is an absolute bargain. cocco Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Lodestones parent company is ashdown? I didn't think they'd be into wood.
Kyron Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Hey, have a bump - but seriously, anyone see a Status T-bass copy here!? Nice lookin' though perhaps it's something to do with the Trace Elliot/Ashdown change over Patents... etc.
edstraker123 Posted November 1, 2010 Author Posted November 1, 2010 Price drop bump. It's mint ! Save £500 !

Ask any owner! The only issue I see is that this is more expensive than a second hand trace and a little less traditional looking.

edstraker123 Posted February 26, 2012 Author Posted February 26, 2012 Hardly playing bass at all so back for sale - it's an excellent price for the quality of the instrument.
edstraker123 Posted February 28, 2012 Author Posted February 28, 2012 Don't know what happened to the original pics bit I'll get them sorted tonight !
