Delberthot
Without having to go down the route of buying a Kahler, are there any affordable 5 string bridges that'll do 15mm string spacing or near? best I can find is 16mm but I'd rather get 15mm
Mr. Foxen
Get the individual bridge piece ones. I got some cheap ones on ebay, they are fine, although I drilled them for through-stringing.
Delberthot
I thought they only squashed together close enough for 16mm
skelf
ETS will make a 15 mm spacing I have several headless sets in that size. Not cheap though and would need to be ordered as it is a custom size. Edited October 18, 2010 by skelf
Lfalex v1.1
Most monorail designs will only go down to 16/16.5mm spacing. I think the Warwick style (2-piece) units will do the same. I've got a Kahler (2400?) on my Vigier. It's a royal bugger to do the intonation, and as Ped will tell you, the action adjustment is adjusted in half-turn increments of the saddles. That was too coarse an adjustment for him, but I found it fine. Beyond that, they're excellent but pricey! I really don't know how tight the Kahlers will go, but I'd guess at 15mm or even tighter, due to the shape of the rail pieces.
GreeneKing
15mm and 5 string, I like your thinking Batman As Alan said, a custom order from ETS. My new Gallus will have one and if Alan has to order any more I suspect he could be persuaded to add one to the list. Peter

Aha, found one and not as expensive as I thought it would be http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-KAHLER-USA-Hybri...=item45f3ee652a Just contacted the seller to double check that it will go down to 15mm but should as it looks to be the same model I used the last time Edited October 18, 2010 by Delberthot
geoffbyrne
Won't a Schaller 3D V go down to 15mm then? G.
obbm
I thought the OLP Stingray 5 clone was about 15mm. Much narrower than the genuine article.
