This is my Hagström Concord C1 for sale. This is a very rare bass. I've been told there were 750 of these basses made between 1965-1971.
This bass is very old and working very good. Has a PERFECT neck. Pickups are very strong and each pickup has volume and tone.
Do not know what wood was used and other details. Sounds like a vintage old bass with a lot of lows.

When was made this bass was more expensive then a Fender precision in the same period of time (1966 - 1968). Here you can find more details about this beauty:

I put a very low price since this bass is around 40 years old, but I need some money for another bass.

SOLD

If it's any help, Hagstrom have just done an innacurate reissue of this, and i dare say it will be more expensive than this. Beautiful bit of kit.

Sorry not true.... well according to the Hagstrom serial number book anyway.

There were three batches

647XXX - batch of 999 made between 1965 and 1967
696XXX - batch of 1000 made in 1967
716XXX - batch of 750 made between 1967 and 1971

But still a great rare bass, and at a reasonable price too

My mistake ... :) Who sold me this bass made reference maybe to 1967-1971 period.

How is the string spacing on this bass? As narrow as on a hofner 500/1 or more comfortable? (I like my 1960 Hofner a lot and it's a great bass to play with a pick, but I'm looking for a bass that also suits fingerstyle playing).
