the_skezz
@ 3V17C Excellent selection, it's good to see you're playing some of the less well known hits by some of the artists (Problem Child, Never Say Die, Shot in the Dark) - stuff that is known by the fans and some casual listeners, but not overplayed. Kudos.

Singer claims she can't sing it
Brilliant song. What is it with female singers not being able to go up & down scales? I work with 3 of them & it's always "I can't sing that in THAT key" or "The verse is to low/chorus is too high". Do guys generally have a bigger range? Sorry, Back on topic. Both my bands are originals, but we do throw in the occasional covers. West Nashville Boogie Use Me Shy Boy (probably the only Talas song I've managed to play all the way thru) White Rabbit 'Tain't No Sin Hyperballad The Void Funky Town Blues Music My Michelle New Years Day There might be more, but I can't rememember all what we've done without going thru our setlists. Bilbo
So you do play covers, Bilbo? I thought you didn't.
I wish. I deeply regret the fact that it is a lot tougher to do things with original material and that this industry relies so much on covers. I try to advocate for original music and focus my personal efforts on that area of work but, as with most musicians, it is an aspiration and inspiration not a reality. The reality is I primarily play covers, the same as everyone else although I am getting increasingly choosy and have a growing list of 'won't plays'.
