And what's going on in Indonesia?[/quote] My first bass is Prince Jazz Bass JB-2, and that bass have no active electronics, finally i bought a 2nd bass Yamaha BB 1100 S, that yamaha, i think have a good active onboard preamp and a good sounding too, and i like that bass very much. I used that yamaha for 15 years, at the first i used Prince Rattler Pro Bass Amplifier, and now i used DIY vaccumm tube bass preamp with Mosfet power amplifier, it's very very good sound producing, i used Rotosound String. I play all kind of music b'cause i'm a musicafe band player, sometimes i played mainstream, jazzfunk, and fusion too for the competition called Java-Bali University Jazz Festival. Luckily my band once was win that competition for the 2nd winner. About Indonesia? wow.....the beautiful country with so many people cultures, and so many kind of traditional musics. I live in Bandung, West Java. Bandung is a small city with cold weather and surrounded with mountains, beautiful city indeed. My influence : MarK King (Level42), Stanley Clarke, Abraham Laboriel, Tetsuo Sakurai (Casiopea), Indro (The Greatest Bassist in Indonesia), Marcus Miller and Victor Wooten. Once Again...
