dincz
I just can't get comfortable using a pick. I've always played with index and middle fingers on the right hand but recently have felt the need for more attack and definition. Keeping the nails trimmed at a suitable length gives a good tone but it's uneven between the two fingers. Should I keep practising, use a compressor or give up? Or ....? Doddy
Keep practising,it'll do you more good than just buying a compressor. It's also worth carrying on practising with a pick too.It may not be comfortable now,but like everything else, the more you do it the better you'll get. phil.i.stein
i got fed up with losing picks...so did what you're doing now. don't bother with a compressor unless you're going to slap too.. your fingerstrokes will even out with practice. even with three fingers (watch billy sheehan !) experiment with valve pedals for gnarly tones.
