iconic
This seems to be straightforward enough, even to a newb like me, so why can't I get the chorus right.... Chorus (EIGHTH NOTES) g|-------------------------------------------------------------------2-4-----------------------| d|-----------------0-2-4-------------------------------------2-4--------------------2---2-4-| a|--0-0-0-2-4------------------------0-2-4-----2-2-2-4---------------4-4-4-4---4-----| e|-------------------------0-0-0-2-4-----------------------------------------------------| This must be one of those occasions when proper sheet music would help! ....found a tab, but, as there is no timing to this I'm struggling and my ear doesn't seem to be able to pick it up, unless this tab is very wrong....funny how how some songs get me puzzled? timing to me is more a da-da-dum.. JTUK
I'd call this the chorus A / / / | E / / / | B / / / | F#/ / / | Academic inspiration you gave me none A E B F# You were Michael the lover the fighter that won A E B F# And now just look at me as I'm a-looking down on you A E B F# No I'm not being flash it's what I'm built to do It is just a walking bass line between the chords with quavers/8th notes, nothing tricky. I have to say that I found tab a useless medium, but also admit I've never had to use it. opps edit as it didn't format right... so will try again. Nope..doesn't want to play.... anyway..ignore the words but use them as the reference as the part of the song we are talking about... Each line is a 4 bar part and use quavers to walk between the changes. Edited October 20, 2010 by JTUK

lojo
We play this, to be honest, its the only part of the song I've not made sure im not playing note for note, but if you get the feel right and walk within the right chords it fits and you can alternate it a little each time round This works for our band
