Best strings for a Ray34 ?

Hi, I know they come with Ernie Balls but is there a thinner string that won't flap about and will give me a decent tone?
Just wondered what anyone else preferred.

I use D'Addario EXL170 (45, 65, 80, 100) in my OLPs and my Stingray. That's light, but sounds great to me.

I get an amazing tone using DR Hi-Beams Flats: 45-100!!

I only ever use Sadowsky Blues on my 'ray now. But will use D'Addarios on other basses.

Bought some Hi-Beams once because of the hype.... fecking [b]hated[/b] them - they were too middley.

its got to be dr high beam strings 40-105 there awesome iv played them on a classic 70s fender and on my warwick and i swear by them they are the best strings ever!
