Delberthot
I think I was something silly like £70 for my Schroeder 1212L

markstuk
It's going to be the VAT on the declared value (HMCE have access to price lists and can penalise you for making a stupid under-value declaration) plus the relevant duty charge (usually not very much for electronic goods).. They've got much much smarter over the past 2-3 years.... Phil-osopher10
ohhh... that's a lot of money just to import it!
chris_b
What are you looking for? Unless you're in a rush, you'll probably find a better one in the For Sale section.
Phil-osopher10
The new David Nordschow Amp (DNA) cabs. THe DNS 112 is going for 699 dollars on bass central and the shipping is an extra 275. So I think it'll end up pretty expensive!

Personally, id stick with a nice Berg 1x12 or Aguilar 1x12. Cheaper (as you wont have to pay import/postage), and very high quality. In fact, the GS112's by Aguilar are a great price. chris_b
The Eden 112's didn't get great reviews so I'd want to hear a DNA 112 first! For that money you can get 2 Aguilar DB112's or a Bergantino 112. Also there's an Aguilar DB410 going for less than the DNA in the For Sale section!! molan
Generally need to allow 20% on top of the declared unit price AND the shipping cost. I always think the VAT on shipping to be a bit of a rip-off really! Edited October 21, 2010 by molan
