mcnach
Just curious....they seem very rare!
someone local was selling last year a beautiful natural stingray with piezo for £500. And I didn't even call him to try it! (kicking myself...)
BottomEndian
I'd be surprised if cd_david doesn't have one, or he may have had one in the past and sold it. He's local too! FWIW, I reckon piezo's the way forward.

Owen
I had a Bongo with Piezos which was really disappointing. I had always wanted to hear what they would be like, having believed that they would be a new and useful tone. They were not. I then bought a Bolin NS5 which has piezos. Now THAT is how piezos should sound. I can only guess that MM did not put a decent pre-amp in the Bongo. I do not know if they would use the same pre in a 'ray.
