Mister_E
I for one would be most interested in a Moffat bash. Hell, I drove to Manchester for the day so this would be a doddle. It's ages since I was there - I wouldn't mind picking up some toffee too.

The next event will be ticket only and bought in advance so we know what we have with regard to funds before the event.[/quote] Can't let you away with that one, Alan. I said I'd be there on the Sunday.....and I was - payed my cash and spent most of the afternoon in the company of Neepheed. I came up from Loughborough. Probably see you at the next one, if things fit in with the appointments book, but it'll be the Sunday only, again. Geoff

As soon the finer details are sorted we will be banging out an email to everybody who has been before as a first dibs on hotel accommodation and of course a place at the curry.... Best part about the whole weekend for me is the Sat night as its always a top laugh, and great to catch up with guys and meet new fellow bass plonkers...and come the Sunday you are all like best mates.... Most guys coming here travel a long, long way...some from way down south. Its a good indication of how much of a laugh we get out of it.... Its the most relaxed bass bash I have been to....top event Of course the hangover can sometimes be a little bit of a pain..... I'm also interested in the bass side of it as well. I enjoy alcohol but I'm not an alcoholic - they go to meetings.

jacko
Depending on the date I'd be interested. I'd probably only be able to get down on the sunday although with plenty forward planning I might be allowed a whole weekend.
LukeFRC
From what I can make out because of the folk who organise it are bass builders the moffat bash always seems 'better' than the others, like a bigger 'event'.
