Delberthot
Just found this - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LED-LIGHT-BAR-guitar...=item335d7d84e2 I like this a lot - my only concern would be that it could introduce mains hum into the signal

They're great for lighting up pedalboards too - I'll find a pic later. Cheerz, John
Kiwi
Cute idea but I think it would only work with guitar and bass rigs that were the same height on stage. Also, if you're going to raise the standards of lighting for your amp then it will also look weird if you don't do the same for back lighting the wall behind you, the drummer and the keyboardists (if you have one) just so there's some consistency...not as simple in execution as it appears. dave_bass5
I quite fancy one of these for my 1212L cab but the postage cost is a bit high.
blind pilot
I too like these, not only do they look cool, but they could also be functional! TBH for the cost of a few LED's and resistors, it should be pretty easy to knock some up. I will have a look/play, see what i can knock up! waltsdog
Some of the led strips that go under cars are pretty much the same thing, they're only a couple of quid each on eBay.
Randy_Marsh
Could anyone point out some items similar to the undercar LED's that can be plugged into mains? I'm rather intersted in these but don't want to pay that much

JakeBrownBass
+1!
If you search for LED strip on ebay it comes up with loads of 12v ones for cars to power via your cigarette lighter, so it should be pretty easy to wire a connector for a 12v dc plug.
