One of the classics with a classic soul bass line... saw him do this in a club in London late 80's and it was incredible...

He supported Marcus the first time I saw him- Barbican Centre 98ish?

"There's Nothing Like This" and Lenny Kravitz's "It Ain't Over til Its Over" were 2 of my favourite 'radio' basslines back in the day- pretty sure they were out at a similar time.

I accidentally played that at soundcheck tonight and it was funny to hear our metal-loving singer come in with 'Ba-doo-ba-wee-ooo!' :)

He also featured on a Galliano tune on their second album, not really classic Galliano but Omar's voice is cool.
