BigBeatNut
Putting this up for sale as it never comes out of the drawer at home, never mind getting taken to a gig. Lots of modulation pedals in one, with 4 user programmable presets. Effects include Chorus, Phase, Flange, Rotary, Tremolo ... check the selector dial picture below for details. Here's Line6's current page for the MM4 One slight problem that may not affect you or bother you. While the unit works fine off batteries (3 C type), and the power supply functions (I've just tested it with a meter) when you plug the the power supply into the pedal, it doesn't work. [s]I presume this is a mechanical problem with the connector, but there's no guarantee at all that this is the case. There is a risk that if you buy this pedal you might find this aspect of it unrepairable, and you have to run it off batteries. Trying to be upfront here ... I genuinely do not know where the problem lies, but if you're happy with battery operation there's no reason at all to be worried.[/s] It turns out (after a visit to an amp/pedal repairer) this pedal wlll need to be returned to line6 for repair for it to run off the power supply again. Don't forget, it works fine off batteries. I've researched the price [s]and £120 looks fair to me[/s] now £100. However If you happen to think otherwise, hit me with an offer. In terms of trades I would really like to own an Envelope Filter ... the gloopier the better. I might also be interested in a Sansamp deluxe bass driver or deluxe VT Bass. Postage (if we can't arrange pickup somewhere in London) will be whatever it costs me at the Post Office. I haven't researched that yet, sorry. BigBeatNut
The Line 6 page about the MM4 is HERE. And you can get a complete rundown from the manuals HERE Very tweakable pedal. You could set up YOUR versions of (say) a uni-vibe, a phaser and two different choruses on the 4 presets. Anyone tempted ? Andy
BigBeatNut
ON HOLD for the moment. I've decided to get it repaired so it's usable with power supply AND batteries. When it comes back, it will be more expensive, but I will NOT be trying to recoup the cost of the repair. I'll just re-list it at what seems to be the market value for a fully functioning MM4. Cheers, Andy
