RhysP
I go for weeks, sometimes months, without even taking a bass out of its case. I do tend to spend 10 minutes or so every day messing about on guitar though.
Spoombung
About 15 minutes a day before I'm called away on some domestic duty related to the children...
Cat Burrito
If I am playing with the band I can do 6-8hrs as top end practice but equally I can leave it alone for a few days. I think not enough would serve me best as my answer for on a daily basis but I try and play most days. I'd average anywhere between a few minutes and a couple of hours. crez5150
I reckon around 12-15 hours per week.... but I'd say 95% of that time is actual gigging....
Chris2112
Probably around 30 mins a day or thereabouts.
arthurhenry
My solution to the day job/kids issue is to get up at 6am and do an hour before breakfast. No one around to bother me and I'm guilt free for the day, with only 30mins left to do in the evening. If I've got a gig I know I've done an hour's warm up that morning. Toddy54
Not counting band practice and giging I try to do 1 hour a day, if we are giging that night I try and get at least a hour warm up before I drive to the gig.
JamieBenzies
As this is hopefully going to be my occupation anything from 1 to 6 hours a day, normally on the higher end Shed shed shed shed shed....
Anything from 10mins to an hour - sometimes more - little and often is my moto.
There's a nice joke in there but I left my flame-proof onsey at a friend's place, so I'll just leave it at that Edited October 25, 2010 by JamieBenzies

I think to some extent they help each other (unlike say...if I was surfing instead of playing a stringed guitar type plank of wood) Jas
icastle
Excluding practices and gigs, probably two hours a weekday as a minimum, perhaps a couple more at weekends - kinda depends on what work is coming up. We don't have a telly...
