Playing bass in the style of Jerry Scheff. Very high energy playing this sort of thing, but its what Jerry did with Elvis.

the site below is great cos you can get backing tracks and they come with a little mixer to remove the bass or anything from them

Rich.

Ive always thought the bass playing in that live version just hits the spot

I do like the look of the bass in that video also, it looks like it could also be used to fend of aliens

You must know what bass that is?? musicman bongo, im sure you do. Yes it is a little more upto date then Jerrys fender P bass. Thing is they created such a powerful sound using basic gear that they had at the time. TCB band still rock, as does Jerry.

Very nice playing, and nice tone. Much better than my efforts recently.

One question, and please dont take offence. Are you using the wrong spelling of Suspicious as some sort of play on words?

Yeah, mate, Jerry is an amazing player, i recently saw the tcb band, but nathan east was on bass as Jerry done his wrist, but hes back on form. Of course Ronnie tutt is i think the best drummer in the world. His music was so powerful for the day.

No problem.

For what its worth your video clip is the first time ive heard a Bongo in isolation, and im very impressed with it.
I hope this doesn't mean the dreaded GAS is on its way again lol.

Ps this is great too, great sound on this

also i did this by plugging the bongo into my little soundcraft mixer, nothing else in the bass chain, so thats the natural sound of this bass. they are fantastic basses, and then took a line right into the koday zi8 HD camcorder. U get great audio this way, and not too expensive. The camcorder was £90.

Damn, me and my big mouth lol.

Fixed it.

Yes, it does sound pretty good. I still think they are a required taste as far as looks go, but no denying they have a massive tone.

Its funny everytime i saw this bass i walked right by it, cos of its shape, then i thought lets try it. That was that really, and now the shape has grown on me big time. Its very alien like! Now the big al i really dont like the look of but once again i heard they sound amazing. But this time i will keep walking right by it. Cant afford another one!
