Both pedals have tone controls, with the Crusher having bass/mid/treble knobs. I've used them exclusively for bass and not noticed any loss of low-end - I was running them with a bit of treble to accentuate the dirt though!

Is it a Rat 1? Got a LM308 installed? or is it just stock? Been looking at one of these and I heard alot about them needing that chip or they loose alot of bass?

Dont know if thats right though?
