Noisyjon
Hello, I'm interested in how the bridge pickup sounds in comparison to a regular USA bridge pickup. If anyone has experience and can shed some light on it for me then that would be great, Cheers, Jon
BassBod
Not got one, but I have played one. Nothing remarkable - just a good sounding back pickup. I'd imagine you'd get very similar results from any of the high end makers - or even the Seymour Duncan vintage jobs?
Noisyjon
Cheers BassBod. I was reading similar things over on TalkBass!
StevieD_FenderP2009
TalkBass? You can't mention that here! But yeah, I'll go with what BassBod said, the SD Vintage Jazz pickups are a fantastic set of pickups. My mate fit them to his Fender J and it sounds so nice
Noisyjon
Thanks Stevie. I won't mention that I occasionally look at Finnbass either then! Edited November 1, 2010 by jonthebass
StevieD_FenderP2009
Didn't your mother ever tell you not to swear like that? Good god... haha! As i said before dude, the Vintage for Jazz pickups are absolutely perfect for that "Jaco" style tone if that's what you're after so yeah, it's definately worth checking them out. And if you don't like them, you could always sell them on here... NO WHERE ELSE!
