I have a BB I enjoy noodling with it but I haven't found a song I can play along to with it.

Any suggestions?

If you switch the distortion circuit on then it does a startlingly good copy of 'Sexy Boy' by Air. As a self-proclaimed "punk dude" that probably doesn't help much... Sorry. +1 for "psycho sexy" - simply an incredible tune. Also try "Naked in the Rain" from the same album. Flea doesn't play with one on this track, but the line works just as well if you want to rub some extra funk on it.

I use a BassBalls (old steel one) with the distortion engaged on the chorus groove.

please excuse the recording quality - this was recorded live at our rehearsal studio with one ambient stero mic. We're just finishing a proper studio recording now though.

I love my BB - it combines really well with other effects too to add a little nastiness.

put a flanger behind it, the BB becomes a comfy ride
IMO the distortion is not 'wide' enough...it's either full on or bugger all
it needs more variance or subtlety

+1 to that - I do that often and I reckon it does need the old steel EHX pedals for both the BB and the BMS. The 24v headroom of the old BMS makes so much difference.
