risingson Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Sandberg make some excellent basses. I must admit on first sight they didn't really look like my thing, but after playing a few in Stockholm I was blown away by the sound and feel of them. They outperformed a lot of high end gear I've played. Quote

To my opinion they beat the hell out of F**** and other basses in that price range (and also in a bit higher price range) Quote
StevieC Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Well done iam, Nice choice. I'm the proud owner of a Sandberg California MM and love it. It's the bubinga-faced 5-stringer and it has a lovely low-mid punch which sits nicely in the mix. Steviec Quote

Not a great photo but there you are. It's also in my sig. [attachment=62865:Sandberg_Bass_001.jpg] Somebody in another Sandberg post said that they (i.e. Sandberg basses) tend to get lost in the mix. No so as far as I'm concerned. Steve Quote
