Hutton Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 I fancy having a go at one of those DVD instructional courses. Has anybody got any experience of them, and if so, can you give a recommendation? Thanks! Quote
El Bajo Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Do you mean a specific course or just instructional DVDs in general? I always thought the Slap bass DVD by Ed Friedland as being one of the best for um Slap bass. Quote
Dood Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 I've had a word with LickLibrary.com to get me involved with their tuition DVD department. Their guitar side of things is great, but they really need to have an amazing Bass department too!! Quote
Hutton Posted November 2, 2010 Author Posted November 2, 2010 Thanks for the replies. I'll definitely keep an eye out for anything in licklibrary especially if you are involved dood! Quote
Faithless Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Check out V Wooten's "Groove Workshop" - it's not that 'regular' DVD, but it has some wise views on music from different perspectives. Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Need to know what music you're into, your fave bass players etc. Quote
